Artist’s Statement (if applicable):
All submissions for literary work will be handed in as a Google Document. Please title the Google Document as your name and number and type of submission / what you are submitting. For example, “Name_3 poems”. Please put all submissions into the same Google Document. For written poetry, specifically, we would also like to request an audio recording if possible, for social media promotion – it is true that poetry’s meaning changes depending on how it’s read aloud too.
All submissions for photography/artwork/others will be handed in as a Google Drive Folder. Please input all related pieces of work into the Google Drive Folder. Please do the same if you have only one submission as well – it makes it easier for organisation purposes. Note that we may need to enlarge photos for the layout of the magazine, so ensure that the quality of the submissions are high.
You will receive a confirmation email that you have submitted after the day of deadline for submissions.
Please send us a follow-up email if you have not heard from us 2 weeks before the edition release date.
NOTE:
The signed agreement between you and XinSai Magazine will give us the right to publish your (art)work without facing legal issues. The (art)work will be published in the specific edition you applied for only and as an artist you will retain the copyright ownership. Moreover, XinSai Magazine will not alter in any shape or form the submitted (art)work without the artist’s consent.
